MRS-232/485
The MRS232/485 module provides connection capability of MATRIX 2000 Panels with a local PC via the serial port.
Operations and control of the system is possible via the PC with the help of the specially designed software named ViewMatrix Plus.The software requires Microsoft Windows XP or later.
This software emulates the panel’s keypad in a user friendly graphical interface. All functions are executed by using the mouse.
The module MRS 232/485 also provides the option to connect through the RS-485 port to up to 7 fully functional repeaters.
If the RS232 connection is also used the number of repeaters is reduced to 6.
The module provides galvanic isolation between the installation’s protective earth (PC’s ground) and system ground preventing an earth fault problem.
