Sirion Server

Sirion server is a dedicated software application able to receive and relay information transmitted from Sirion units to a Central Monitoring Station over a TCP/IP network. Sirion Server also offers to CMS the ability to act as a “bridge” between the Sirion units and CMS’s platform.

It receives event data originating either from the alarm panel and/or the Sirion unit(s), decodes them and translates them to the format expected by CMS’s platform. This is done by emulating a range of popular PSTN event receivers. It also serves as a Sirion units’ presence and connectivity watchdog, relieving CMS’s platform from the overhead of continued and frequent monitoring of Sirion units.

  • Server software for reception of alarm and periodic tests events
  • Compatible with CMS’s Platforms by simulating widely spread Event Receiving protocols (MCDI Exprecium, Ademco 685, Surgard SLR, Raw data)
  • Connectivity with monitoring system through physical serial port, emulated serial port, TCP/IP or file system sharing
  • High security encryption and authentication protocol
  • Unit presence and connectivity watchdog with programmable parameters per unit
  • Fully logged operation (incoming, system and user events)

The software is available only to authorized installers and monitoring stations at the Downloads page.
