Our Research and Development department has the mission of investigating, designing and implementing new products. It is also the department that sets up production procedures and testing by designing automated programming and test systems (JIGs).
Our main goal of product design is to have products of advanced technology, high reliability, innovative with competitive cost.
All our designs adhere to the required National, European (and sometimes American) standards against which they are also certified.
Project management, quality assurance, distributed development etc are all intrinsic to our way of working, and are all covered in our ISO9001:2008 quality manual.
The department currently employes 6 engineers specializing in hardware and software design (Schematics, PCB design, Circuit analysis and evaluation, PC and embedded Software analysis and coding, prototyping etc) . It is also responsible for the creation of manuals and technical documentation. The qualifications of our engineers (Technical Universities and Polytechnics degrees and post graduate degrees) give us the opportunity to create competitive products capable of the stringent certifications.
The department is managed by Mr. George Ioannu, MPhil, Electrical and Software engineer.
